Consciousness-Based Education

Parents are always eager to send their children to the best possible school, academy, or university. This is because a good education gives the child better skills and the opportunity to become as successful as possible in life.

The present educational institutions can give students excellent training to become skilled professionals in many areas of society.

Despite all the laudable capabilities of modern education, very well-educated people also make mistakes, they experience failures, flaws and set-backs in their lives.

Ideal education should turn students not just into well-educated and intelligent individuals, but also mistake-free individuals.

Container of knowledge

Education today gives knowledge, it gives objective information about the various subjects. The student simply reads the material repeatedly, until he or she understands it. The student then stores this information in what we could call "the container of knowledge".

Missing Link in Education

What the present system of education doesn't do, is to expand the container of knowledge. It doesn't provide knowledge of intelligence itself.

Intelligence itself is pure knowingness, it is pure consciousness. It isn't knowledge of some object with a concrete form, but it is abstract, pure awareness.

This is the student's own Self. It is pure subjectivity. It is knowledge of the abstract, unbounded field of consciousness.

Consciousness-based education

Consciousness-based education brings an extra element into the already existing system of education. It allows the student to experience Transcendental Consciousness, which is pure intelligence, unbounded awareness, the infinite container of knowledge at the source of thought.

By systematically experiencing this, the student will feel more at home with knowledge about any subject given to him. As Transcendental Consciousness is the home of all the laws of nature, he will spontaneously act more in accord with Natural Law.

This will not only improve the learning skills and intelligence of the student, but his life will naturally develop in a harmonious and fulfilling way.

Pure consciousness, pure intelligence, pure knowledge nourishes all of life. It is the basis of all our thoughts and actions. It is like the sap in the trunk, which nourishes all of the tree.

We only need to enliven this unbounded reservoir of intelligence within in order to benefit from it. This is what Consciousness-based Education does for the student.

It teaches the student how to easily, gently and naturally develop his full brain-potential through direct contact with this infinite source of intelligence which is already there within you, me and everyone.

Development of the student's consciousness

The missing element in education is the development of the student's own self-referral consciousness.

It is possible now, in this scientific age, to learn a new and, at the same time, ancient technology for the development of consciousness, which has recently been made available to us by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

This is known as the the Transcendental Meditation and TM Sidhi programme, including Yogic Flying.

The Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique has been taught to millions of people in the world and the TM Sidhi programme to several hundred thousands. The programmes are scientifically validated in more than 600 scientific studies, many of which have been published in leading scientific journals.

The results show for example increased intelligence and creativity, better memory and improved social skills, which will enhance the student's learning ability.

Implementation into the present system of education

By implementing the TM and TM Sidhi programme into the present system of education, it will become Consciousness-based Education, based on the enlivenment of pure intelligence, which is total knowledge.

Consciousness-based education enlivens total brain functioning of the student. It creates fully developed students who learn better and more easily, memorize more quickly and get better results. They are also happier, healthier, more tolerant, insightful students who can be more successful in their professional and personal lives.
