24 January 2008 - Buddhists practising TM in Shri
Lanka
The Transcendental Meditation technique can be
practised by anyone of any lifestyle. This includes, therefore, also
monks.
Since 2003 Koji Oshima, who is a Buddhist monk
living in Japan, has been the organiser of a project to teach the
Transcendental Meditation technique to thousands of Buddhists in Shri
Lanka.
This has so far resulted in 3100 Buddhist monks
learning Transcendental Meditation in more than 100 temples in Sri
Lanka and Thailand. (Source: Global Good News)
